We were practicing phonics, I like to make my phonics class a little more exciting . In this game, instead of just chanting the sound of the letter and a single word, I add a silly sentence to the end. The silly sentence includes an actoin that kids can do. Once they’ve finished reading the sentence and doing the actions they try to be the first to hit the whiteboard.

照片中的圖案是我用粉彩紙仿照書中圖片所做的,在圖書館說這本書時,我先以圖片讓小朋友認識各種動物,以此亦可確定當日小朋友大致上的程度,說完故事後,我將圖片貼在圖書是四周的牆壁上,請小朋友問我:Ava Ava What do you see? 再請該位小朋友找出我所說的動物,以此類推,互相練習.
在家中我只是隨意的把照片貼在牆上,沒有刻意按照書中的順序,也沒有要求小孩一定要念英文版本,後來,Nana是從中文先念起,例如:紅色的鳥,紅色的鳥 你在看什麼?念熟了以後開始念英文版本,念了一陣子之後Nana才開始找書來自己一頁一頁,自問自答的把整本書念完.有時候忘記下一頁是什麼還會偷翻一點點看一下再繼續念喔!而最有趣的是,後來我們一家人就會隨興的開始問答:Peter Peter What do you see? I see Christina looking at me. Christina Christina what do you see? I see a table looking at me(擬人化) 將我們當時所在地的物品和人物多念一次,百玩不厭唷.至於Christopher 的部分我們會趴到地上以他的角度來找答案並且幫他回答.
